POLAND: Norwegian waste handling companies in focus
Norwegian solutions for waste handling will be presented at the annual event gathering all the directors of municipal waste management companies throughout Poland. This is the 32nd Conference of the Forum of Directors which will take place from the 14th to the 17 May 2008 in Wisla in southern Poland.
The conference programme includes a Norwegian day during which the representatives of Innovation Norway and Green Business Norway (GBN) will share experiences from waste handling activities in Norway with their Polish colleagues.
Several companies belonging to the GBN cluster, Lindum AS, Tomra AS, Mepex Consult AS, Norsk Glassgjenvinning AS and Cambi AS, will have an opportunity to present their technologies and achievements for the Polish participants of the Forum.
Vidar Segtnan from Innovation Norway, Norway’s Commercial Counsellor to Poland, will talk about waste management in Norway, and Anne-Lise Gjestvang from GBN in her presentation, will concentrate on the issue of ecological responsibility in business activities.
All the participating companies were exhibitors at the POLEKO Fair in Poznan in November 2007. This year Innovation Norway is also planning to organize a joint Norwegian stand at POLEKO during week 44 (27-30) October 2008.
